Staying warm this Winter with a Harry Potter themed crocheted blanket

Last year, I found a great Crochet-Along project online over at Yarn Geekery. It's a little different to other crochet projects that I've finished, in that the pattern is in the form of a Graphgan. Instead of crocheting in rows, you follow the graph and work from Corner To Corner (often referred to as C2C).

I followed most of the crochet blocks from the original design, but then ventured out to other sites for the likes of the Dobby, HP logo and uniform squares.

The bottom banner is the Marauders' motto "Michief Managed" from Ravenpuff & Magic Stuff . The top banner is still a work in progress and will eventually be Hogwarts castle in silhouette...if I ever get it finished!
