Anyone that knows me will know that I have a bit of an obsession for everything Harry Potter. I've been collecting the Wizarding World Lego sets for a few years now, requesting new sets for Birthdays etc, and scouring ebay for the original, discontinued sets to add to my growing collection.
Christmas 2019, the baubles and angels on my tree were replaced by flying snitches and tickets for the Hogwarts Express.

I made miniature potion bottles for my Christmas lights (no floating candles though, I settled for led flame-less candles instead)...

I even created themed Christmas crackers! I enjoyed the experience so much that 2020 just had to be the same...although no crackers this year as the pandemic restrictions meant that Christmas was a very different experience for those of us in Tier 4!
2019 was also the year that I tackled my first major machine-sewn quilt...of course it was Harry Potter themed! I enjoyed making it so much, that I created two smaller matching quilts for my nieces Christmas presents! All three quilts were based on designs created by the very talented Jennifer Ofenstein for the Project of Doom over at Fandominstitches.com

I'm currently in the middle of several further Harry Potter creations, so stay tuned...!
