Egg-cellent Storage...

I have a pretty old, under counter fridge, that is prone to having wet shelves where the little hole keeps getting blocked up. I buy eggs in large cardboard trays that get very soggy if I'm not quick enough at emptying the shelves, unblocking the drainage hole and wiping everything down again.

I spotted an egg tray mould online and thought this would be the perfect alternative to soggy cardboard. I've been using a lot of StoneCast recently, but didn't think that would be suitable in a damp environment, so pulled out the last of my gallon container of Epoxy Resin and started making.

Even though the mould split before I could even get the outer packaging free, I managed to keep it taped together enough to stop the mould from leaking. I ended up casting the mould four times, each in a different colour and I think they've turned out pretty great.
