Another rainy Sunday...

It's currently day 300 of the UK lock down and so I have decided to start a blog to share with the rest of the crafting community just how I've been dealing with these very strange times. My love for different crafts isn't a new passion, I've been knitting since a child and paper crafting for around 20 years. I learnt to crochet from a colleague during one of our quieter days in the office and went from just a few hours practice to creating a baby blanket in a few weeks! When I changed jobs back in 2010, I met another colleague who was in the process of creating her own home business, Sewing Memories. I'd often pondered the idea of quilting, but it was only after seeing Nicola's passion for the craft that I tried it for myself. I started creating small hand sewn projects using templates before eventually venturing into machine sewing and things more adventurous...but more about that later!
